Metal casting? You're hardcore! Lead? Tin? Pewter? Zirconium steel? |

Lead/tin/Bismuth low melt allow (210c) just cast in a rubber hand mould on a domestic cooker. Unfortunately its the only type of casting I know how to do. Originally used it when i started to cast some 2-3mm Napoleonic’s and tiny scale ww2 armour, maybe 1/600 scale or so, in my early teens, and the stuffs lain in a cupboard since then. Although I did get the bits for resin a while back, I just hate having to wait for the curing time |

Looking really good, Apocolocyntosis! Is this model a single piece? Could you post pictures of the actual molds you're using as I can't seem to wrap my head around it. *laugh* |
