They've just about got it to 0.1mm now. It'll never do what we want. ABS is too viscous to extrude finely. Still going to build one once I've space. ![]() There are a few options available to us - evapourative solvents, sintering, point etching. problem is none of them have been developed to the same extent as the standard reprap. |

Same issues - that's why i was mumbling about using die cast ABS in that other thread. Even for buildings, I'd still aim for a proper level of detail. Towerblocks and non gothicy/twiddly i suppose are possible. 0.1mm - still pretty visisble blockyness i think. Ought to try though. |

The machine I use goes down to 0.05mm. 0.1mm would be acceptable, as long as the quality is there! |

awww. there there. I've been doing a fair bit more diggin in their forums. I owe the OP an apology, they're further ahead with microfabbing then I thought. damn it! will my list of to -do projects never grow shorter? |
