I'm thinking you went for too many pieces. It'll take an age to cast.

It was intended that there would be MANY printed pieces, then I can fiddle and see what's best for which pieces and what should be attached before casting.
All the carapace pieces can go onto one or two sprues, as with the toes, that cuts it down significantly.
The weapons will be on a sprue each, which makes them 2/3 less pieces.
The little details that are seperate can go onto the Toe sprue.
The whole model, not including weapons or toes is 19 pieces, so not too bad.

A Small Walking Robot, including two weapons (and toes, heh) is 12 components.

A Medium Walking Robot will probably have about 16-20 components (including toes!) depending on configuration/design choices like how to design the feet.

I'm tempted to get one of each and make a diorama to put on my desk at work. Unfortunately I find them a bit too large to be used in a game partly because of transport space and partly because of footprint on the board.

Now I don't even think I am worthy of commenting on your thread. This is a most impressive piece of work. I have been sending this thread to everyone I know that can even spell titan. You ought to get an Oscar (or whatever the Epic equivalent is) for this.

Words just fail me. Wow!

An Aquilla Statue? Or ....?

JL this is amazing work sir! Damn computer crash has put me out of the loop for a week or so. I think this will be my Emperor Titian proxy until someone here makes ones.

Not sure yet, when I have all the pieces cleaned and ready to cast I'll know how many bits and how long it's going to take to make each, then I'll have a better idea of cost.

And I will put it together for a photo soon! I promise!

Don't worry I have plenty of stuff to keep me busy while I wait for you to put the pieces together, like watch paint dry or type this message or ... :_(

Looking forward to seeing the sucker in all its glory.

Unexpectedly had work this week, and got some next week too, so I've put off construction and casting for a little while, I'll get him together as soon as I can though!

Also there's taht tax return I have to do.

OK, tax return out of the way. Got a job, so sorting out casting for reproduction has been delayed AGAIN (sorry, it is coming).
Finally got some bluetac, but it's too heavy and wont stand up, so here's the best I could do for now, gives a good impression of just how big it is, this is 1 or 2 mm shorter than the finished piece standing in a boring pose would be, due to lack of feet and carapace:

Awesome! Titanic indeed. I had said I probably wouldn’t get one ...but I suspect I am going to succumb afterall.

Wonder what base size that things gota have? Too big for the 60mm you see most larger titans on definitely. Anywhere make 80mm or so round bases the thickness of the 60mm ones?

I wonder if its larger size could very occasionally be a slight tactical advantage too? - you could place your objectives just the right distance apart so that the Warlord can just about hold both of them at once, but other smaller thinner titans wouldn’t be able to.
