Ork Mobile Super Structure

Hoping to get back into Epic, and start yet another project (havent even finished the last ten).

Anyway, it was an idea I picked up back when they had the article in WD with Da Krater Maker.

Instead of building an Ork Fortress, I decided to try and build a Mobile Ork Structure/Base. So the whole vehicle needs to have some width too and loads of platforms to display loads of Orks. This all stems down to lack of shelf space, but the shelf has plenty of un-used height space.

Unfortunately I'm struggling how I would do this.

Here's a list of stuff I considered
- Pulled by Stompas possibly.
- Definately Track Mounted.
- Definately need a massive Gun, but the flaw is when it is fired, it would rock the whole mobile structure (but I guess Orks don't care).
- Off Ramp level for vehicles, may not even bother with ramps as Orks are probably crazy enough to drive straight off
- Firing Platforms, need loads of these, but trying to decide how many stands per platform. I was thinking along the lines of a multi-story carpark style, but that on tracks doesnt seem sensible or realistic... but we're talking about orks i guess.

So any additional thoughts or ideas to help me kick this off?

I have similiar idaes for my Orks (when I eventually get to them). One idea that I am thinking of is to use the Forgeworld AI Grot Bombz. All you need then is loads of wacky-looking ramps, but it should look great.

A mega gargant might make a good start for a large tracked ork vehicle. I'd imagine you'd want to lose the top layers but would defo be a good base.

Da Krater Maker was basically Orky Ordinatuz iirc.  

You could probably get away with using a couple of 1:72 tank hulls and build up from there.  Something like a Churchill/Matilda would probably work well because you could run ramps/doors/gunz out of the sides without getting into the worky bitz.

Cannibalizing some battleship components might simplify the superstructure if you are not inclined to scratchbuild the whole thing.
