What has already been said.
The copying of IP is illegal. Period.
Of course there's a lot of grey areas, like how close should a model resemble something with IP before it beomes infringement if you decide to produce some copies for personal use. Same goes for proxies: A model may make an excellent proxy for an army, but it could never be advertized as such.
It is against forum policy (and illegal in the real world too) to produce copies of registered IP and especially to sell these copies. This means that any pinned list that would in any way seem to encourage such behaviour might get both the sculptors and CyberShadow into trouble. Of course there's nothing we mods can do to stop people from contacting each other through personal mail outside these boards, and it also is nice to see the creativity and talent displayed here. Thus it is a matter of striking a balance. However to openly sell copies of your work, or even to suggest it, is highly problematic, and thus can't be allowed on the boards. (And of course we're pretty sure that no such activities are going on

)
And just to be clear: It is of course completely legal (and should be encouraged) to come up woth your own IP free designs, cast and even sell those. Anything that looks like, bears the same name, or in any other way infringes copyright is not. Use common sense and a bit of self moderation when you comment on people who has produced a particularly nice or usefull model. That way noone gets into trouble and we can all live happily ever after
Right. MOD-hat off. I hope that explains the situation from an official standpoint.
