So i recently saw a post in here somewhere with some Star Wars AT-AT and Jawa Sandcrawler and immediately went onto ebay and got some ::)

But then i started thinking about flyers and saw these Tie & X-Wing but i'm undecided if they are too big or just fine for air support.

Opinions ?

Sure when comparing the star wars stuff to the old flyer range it might appear they are a bit too large.

However when you throw forge world into the mix, which many people use, the star wars stuff fits right in the size zone between standard 40k and forge world.

For me this means the star wars stuff is just the right size rather than being too big.

not too big. those old flyers were done in a scale of their own, so loads of room to play with proxies

That and you NEED those... you know, because reasons.

Actually the flyers are all really fungible and most sane people pull a page from the BFG rule book and just measure from the stick anyways. I'd totally use those!

According to the xwing rulebook, the models are 1:270 scale, so just about perfect for epic :)

I'm using the pack that gives you Slave 1, one of the Clone transports and a Clone starfighter...

the clone transport is perfect for a Stormraven and I'm going to use the starfighter as a SM Frigate in BFG
