Should Otterman have one prototyping thread?
A) Yes, please! It's OK if the topics are all different (e.g. gothic windows mixed up with zombie robots). 100%  100%  [ 14 ]

Should Otterman have one prototyping thread?

I aim to please.

There have been some requests for a 'complete list of all Otterman World-of-Forges products'. Such a list would consist mainly of, how you say, "questionable" items.

I guess the list would be more sensible once my catalog of wholly Otter-designed items grows beyond 2 things (Bison and Hadrian armor).

I vote C, other

What would be good would to have a single 'catalog' thread with links to all of your project threads, and as each project becomes complete and available for...'trade,' have the finished project be updated onto the catalog thread. I think what most people want is a summary of how your projects are going, since they draw so much positive attention from the community. Having a single post dedicated to each project in the catalog thread will help others know everything that Otterman Productions is doing.

but your name already appears like a rash on this website; or do only long standing members  get 'private viewings'?

I suppose.  If 'discovery' is your main concern you should have multiple threads.  Spreading your message over a wide bandwidth is the best way to thwart an enemy's attempt to jam or decypher your signal.  That combined with strange descriptions is the way to go.  It becomes inconvenient, but that isn't your primary concern so don't fret over it.  Word of mouth seems to work for a lot of people doing similar work.  :blues:

Yeah that's right. :)  Once you get past 1500 posts they allow you into the gold members club where you're shown all sorts of privileged products... however, once you get past 3000 posts I've heard there is a Platinum members club that has Epic Necron, Dark Eldar, Exodite and Tyranid infantry... (You have to sign a disclaimer though). there is even a rumour of a Diamond Club... I guess that's why L4 can post an example of just about any model ever made.

I'm sure it was the good kind of rash

Option E (Otterman gets his own section on the Forum) would be nice, but I guess not very low profile.
