Hi, I'm wondering what would be a good, commercially-available substitute for imperial 1-man walkers that wouldn't cost me an arm and a leg to buy. They are for a Knightworld army so it's okay if they don't look too orthodox as long as they're the right size for the job.

Feel free to try and sell your own product if you're a manufacturer!

When GZG comes back online fully, you could do worse than the 2-legged walkers in the 2mm Germy range: I'm using them as a sort of legged motorcycle missile vehicle for my NSL in Dirtside 2, and they might do the job for you as well.

Interesting. Would they scale well to 6mm epic though?

Sorry Carlos, running a bit late on this one :-)

If you are still looking, did you see these from Baccus 6mm ?

https://www.baccus6mm.com/index.php?content=products (go to Si-fi > humans > scroll down to "Light Walkers")

Can't vouch for scale / quality etc. but they look ok. £3.65 (in EU) for 4 and there are 2 other types. I considered them for a while but in the end i must confess i stumped for the GW Sentinels - £1.50 a miniature seems just about reasonable...

I like the Baccus range. I have quite a bit of their stuff. Not painted i am afraid. In the long to do list.

Thanks Blip. Frankly Baccus' site is so poorly done and organised that I had a quick look at the Worms section for my Tyranid proxies and then left quickly afterwards! Their human range is fantastic.

Ended up going for the Exodus Wars new walkers. Cheap at £6 for 12 with variant weapons and fit my idea of Knightworld Squires to a tee.
