@Apoc: Very simple black actually. Black undercoat, highlight with blue-gray, edge highlight with white.

Thanks guys! Finished up a pair of Horus Heresy SoH vehicles for a painting tutorial. I might could have gone a hair darker with the green and contrast but I think they turned out fairly well.

agreed with Aaron..... those are sickeningly good.... the blends on the turrets and into the edge highlights are just amazing.... the colours look great, really show off your technique, and the black and pale green contrast really well

do you wet blend or use layering or what? I'm trying to teach myself wet blending and it's a time consuming technique when you're just starting out....

I need to go and practice painting, so much stuff to steal and attempt to emulate lately!!
