Hey all, I'm just redoing some custom epic rules I wrote awhile ago and wanted to spruce up my document with a few visuals of different units, etc. The colour (or lack of) is unimportant as I was just going to use greyscale versions ... any body willing to 'donate' a pic to my project? :)

Preferably looking head-on towards the miniatures for infantry, vehicles preferably side-on or angled but they don't matter so much.

Needed.

Veteran Space Marine Stand - A SM stand with something along the lines of two or more Sergeants a Standard Bearer and the rest filled in with base marines.

Tactical SM Stand - All tactical marines, no devastators.

Devastator SM Stand - Preferably all devastator marines, but a few tacticals to fill it out are ok.

Rapier Laser Destroyer/Tarantula - If anyone has these rare minis  handy?

Thats all for now.

Thanks all.

Basicly what I'm doing, much like the Armageddon book, using some sneaky cut and paste I managed my tactical and devastator stands. Found a some shots of the Rapier and Tarantula, but even in greyscale they look alittle rubbish next to painted greyscale pics.

Not sure if anyone has anything to represent Scout Bikes, Land Speeder Tornados & Typhoons.

(The descriptions and mini's are from GW's site, full credit there, hope they don't mind ... if though would I'll scrap 'em).

You can get sued just for using the pictures. Better use some from people of this site.

You're welcome to use whatever you can find on my site (see sig). I can't remember if I ever posted pics of my tarentulas there though.

Alright dropped, I presume using their descriptions isn't allowed either? Hmmm, never been good at writing up fluff myself.

Cheers WM Nice.

Thanks guys :)

Anyone up on the legalese of using GW's fluff text? (With the eventual addition of a 'stuff property of GW' and all that?).

Looked through WM Nice's galleries a few are usuable, but most being rather heavy in the backdrop department would be alittle tricky to use for individual 'unit' pictures, there are some great battle scenes and troop columns which I'd love to be able to use in other parts of my rules document.

Legally, you need to rewrite all the fluff text as well I'm afraid.

Uh well, I'm left with some stat lines than ... I suppose the other stuff isn't necessary as most who would look at a set of homebrew epic rules would know all about the different units and such anyway.

Still ... I like the professional look  :p

I'd offer pictures of mine (not background heavy) but don't have a web server at the mo.

I think if the document you are doing is for local use and not for sale or wide publication, then I don't think its much of a worry about GW legal stuff. Also consider that the Epic Armageddon rule book is readily available for download at their specialist web site anyway.

First attempt, abit rough around the edges as I had to kill off the dudes standing behind with the eraser and replace the chaplain.

I have a few loose Tarantulas, Thudd Guns and Rapiers... not painted though.

Different topic...

I was considering scanning my Firepower and Epic magazines to PDF... think they would have a problem if I made it available to anyone? No money would be made... or has someone done this already?
