does anybody have any ideas on alternative skitarii colors from the old "martain red"? im not really averse to the red idea, but i would like to know some other forgeworlds non titan color schemes... Thanx WH |

Tell us what color you would like can we can defend almost any color. A forge world based on a moon or as a giant space contruction station would be grey or black. A desert forge wold would be sand. You can even have a ocean forge world. eith blue or white tech guard. I think a solid silver work work well. You know they see themselves as machines. Endless possibilities. |

true, but ive always seen the mechanicus as shunning the use of conventional camouflage in favor of more "mechanicus-y" colors. |

Instead of bight red you could go with reddish browns (like scorched or bestial brown) or teracotta colors. Still martian in color, but combined black or grey it looks suitably camo-ish while still maintaining a bit of the Mechanicus look. |

Red and also white (as secondary color) are Mechanicus colors, as well as black (both black and white are in the Mechanicus symbol). I would say it is up to you which colors dominate. |

Actually black/dark grey mechanicus infantry with a few reddish details picked out would look pretty good I think. |

There's more than a few red and gray schemes here: http://oz.games-workshop.com/games....mo1.htm You know when all the GW sites move over to the new format we're going to loose a LOT of things like this. |
