*** This is a work in progress -  not complete! ***

I thought I'd update Chris's list and add my own comments in:

I added the follwing categories:

SCALE: The scale as I've determined with comments as to scalability versus Epic-Armageddon.

MAKSIM's COMMENTS: Comments from me, Maksim.

CHRIS' COMMENTS: Comnments from Chris.

TERRAIN: If they make terrain...

HUMAN-PROXY: Most manufcturer's make pieces that proxy for humands or humanoids.

ALIENS: If a manufacturers makes aliens that are not the typical human-proxies, I note it here.

LAND VEHICLES: If they make land vehicles including wheeled, grav, tracked, grav, hovercraft, etc....

FLYERS: If they make flyers including helicopters, atmospheric craft, and space-capable craft capable of entering the atmosphere for ground support...

INFANTRY: If they make infantry including man-portable support weapons...

==================
- 15mm.co.uk.
SCALE: [Large 6mm or 1/285] ...actually around 7 - 9mmm for most pieces... They go well with the latest Epic pieces.
MAKSIM's COMMENTS: I like this line and the prices are good. They do come cast on horrendous stubs are no fun to cut off.

TERRAIN: None.
HUMAN-PROXY: Yes.
ALIENS: None.

LAND VEHICLES: No.
FLYERS: No.
INFANTRY: Yes.

INFANTRY: Yes.

==================
- Armorcast is doing 6mm terrain
SCALE: [Large 6mm or 1/285]
MAKSIM's COMMENTS: I love Armorcast.

TERRAIN: Yes.
HUMAN-PROXY: Yes. They make several pieces for Battletech including bunkers, factories, a nuclear power plant, and some other assorted buildings.
ALIENS: Yes. They made some organic factory pieces that were amde for 28mm, but make awesome 6mm Tyranid / Bio-baddie terrain. I think these peices might be OOP now. Not even L-4 has them!

LAND VEHICLES: None.

ALIENS: Yes.

LAND VEHICLES: Yes.
FLYERS: No.
INFANTRY: No.

==================
- Ironwind Metals.
SCALE: [Large 6mm or 1/285]
MAKSIM's COMMENTS: These guys took over from Ral Partha and continued production of the Battletech lines. Most of the Battletech pieces are large 6mm, but a few of the MWDA collectible game pieces are 10mm.

CHRIS' COMMENTS: Yes, they do 6mm too. No doubt in the same style as their other ranges. I can't bring myself to buy any to find out though. I quote from below "suitable for a high contrast impressionistic painting technique."

Yes, the plastic Cohorts are. I've dealt with David a number of times, and he's very efficient and pleasant.

The metal miniatures can be purchased from PFC-CinC in their "Sci-fi" section.
