Okay...so i managed to borrow a digital camera at last and thought i'd show a few things off...  THE BLACK HOST of ULTHWE (Note Old Mk1 Falcons as Wave Serpents!)  Titans and Objective Markers (note dead and/or dying exarch at back of Wave Serpent  Quality shot on super heavies and tanks  Up close with the Avatar; poor angle but the Young King is actually represented by a Harlequin suitably painted. |

 The Ryzan IVth Grenadiers, with support Elements of the Legio Victorum; Note the regiment are actually still awaiting a shipment of Chimera's as opposed to camoflauged Rhino's! That sait they're also expecting re-inforcement from a Whole load of Elysian's (the old assault jump troops) in Valkyries and Vultures, not to mention several Executioners! Not to mention some snipers; i hate ratlings so anm going to use a 3 to a base of the old mk1 'Cadian' guard with the longer lasguns to represent sniper teams :-)!  The as of yet unfinished supreme commanders formation; but so as you can see the conversions to offset his units from others.  Close up of Infantry  Converted Heavy Support Stands  Stormtroopers (Again converted with Catachans, old Mk1 Guard (trim thier lasguns short, paint the end red and what have you got? Plasmaguns!), and other spares. |

Cheers man! Yeah; i'm a bit of a eco-freak at times so the ability to recycle EPIC miniatures just done it for me! And who want's to spend a tenner on stormtroopers?!? The idea being also that Ryza (the forgeworld) does not easy have access to certain types of technology but also builds many 'newer' versions of other types...So they're well equipped with Conquerers and Vanquishers (from FW) and will also have easy access to the Plasma Blastgun wieilding SH tank but when it comes to stuff like shadowswords they can't even field a whole platoon of them; let alone get hold of more 'modern' versions! |
