As many of you know, I like to have a lot of projects on the go at any one time.
The main 1/300th scale ones at the moment are some super heavy tanks, and a (very) long term Capitol Imperialis - which has gone from a mobile cathedral to an armoured 'sand crawler' type thing instead.

But over the last couple of years, I've been playing AT2 with my kids. The rules have some problems, and some bits missing, and we've slowly been developing them - to the point where they are pretty much a different game!

But we need more giant robots, so I've started modelling one. Don't know how long this'll take - it depends on how well it catches my imagination. So far there's just a basic leg awaiting detail. Here's a pic.

Incidentally, if anyone else bothered to play AT2 and has mods or suggestions of their own, I'd love to hear them!

Regards,
Reaver

What game is this.

Looks like sculpy to me.

AT2 . . .?

Adeptus Titanicus 2 (The one from the E:40k era).

Cheers, indeed does look like sculpy, the old crapped up screen at work shows them more like the plastic GW use.

E+C's spot on, it's sculpey. Super Sculpey Firm Grey to be exact - lovely stuff!

Adeptus Titanicus 2 is still available as a download from the SG site, for now, anyway. I spent ages typing it up, compiling the stats from different issues of Epic 40K mag, and finally convinced Andy Hall to host it, but no one seems to have played it apart from me. But I like it!

The leg is a mix of whatever pieces of putty I had lying around in the right sizes to be sanded and scraped into the proper shape. I'll mould and cast the bits before detailing, so's I can have a right and left leg without too much work.

I've started on the body, but it looks very weird at the moment, so no pics yet!

Reaver

My word Reaver, that looks so good already I want to marry you and have your babies!

...at least, if I weren-t already engaged, and that it would be physically impossible...

Seriously, it's great, if the whole thing is up to this standard, I'll be very excited to see it

Well, the leg is being moulded right now, so I've started work on the head and main body. Still lots to do, but I've started detailing with Pro Create, and it seems to be working okay so far. Once that's done, I'll get on with the carapace, then the weapons.
