Well after a spate of ebaying I now have a bunch of titans I'm keen to paint up to accompany my WIP Thousand Sons. However, they all have the old bases with the shield weel, and I'd rather have thinner bases, like the current Studio Warlord is mounted on (see here). Does anyone know of a good online source of these? There is a bag of 'titan bases' available from the UK online store here, but I'm not sure what kind of base they are... while the Warlord and Warlock titan in the online store are mounted on thin bases, the Reaver and Phaonto titans are mounted on thicker bases. In addition, I'd like to be able to get hold of smaller thin bases to mount warhounds on. Can anyone recommend a good UK source for thin round bases in the appropriate sizes?

EDIT: Gah, forum has mucked up the links. Not sure why. Hopefully people know what I'm talking about anyway...

I understand what you mean :)

- Litko bases may be a solution: http://www.litkoaero.com/page/LAI/PROD/ ... /GMB245-50
- gamecraftersltd has some really thin ones http://gamecraftersltd.com/_wsn/page4.html
- or large and cheap washers could do the job too.

I think that the GW blister may contain the ones you need, the best solution would be to call/email them ;)

Yep the GW ones are the bases your looking for, and also the ones I used for my warlord and objectives not too pricey considering you get 15 huge bases

I'm in the US, so YMMV, but I just bought some 60mm Round Bases from GW and they were the thin titan bases that you are referring to. They came 15 to a baggy for $5. The odd thing is that the online store thinks that they are out of stock, but they are available if you call them.

Good to know, I was wondering if they were ever coming back.

OK, cheers for the info folks. Does sound like the GW ones are what I am after. Still, I guess I'm going to have to wait until I need to make an order anyway... not happy paying £4 postage on a £4 order of bases. Quite interested by the Litko bases actually... true, I'd have to wait for delivery from the US to the UK. But they have 0.8mm or 1.5mm thick round bases in 40mm, 50mm and 60mm size which sounds like what I'm after. They are plywood rather than plastic though... anyone have any experience using plywood bases for epic models?
