After dilly dallying for so long I took the plunge and came up with a scheme based loosely on a Imperial Armour scheme I saw 5 years ago. I painted up a chimera squadron quickly to see how it looks. Coming from or fighting on a Alkaline rich environment meant lots of caustic wastes with blue/grey ash.

Sorry for the bad pics but I took them with my phone this morning while running out the door for work!

I am still on the fence with the scheme. I have been thinking about camo green for my guard although green guard seem to be popular.

It would be useful to have a side view - but so far I really like it. I can see these boys doing some night time city fighting as well as the caustic wastes.
Regards,
Reaver

Reaver: Thanks I am glad you like it because your Macharius are up next on my painting table. ALong with a LR squadron.

Vulcan Macharius will be after that.

Nice scheme Daemonkin.
See guys, blue IG is gaining popularity, (maybe it's just a Northern Ireland thing!)

If you check some Imperial Navy (or Chaos) fleets you will notice a lot of blue fleets as well.

Well, there could be an IGMC ... There has to be planets with large bodies of water (some other liquid ?!). I know this one little place ... Third Rock from the Sun, IIRC, it's called Terra or Earth ?  It's 2/3 water !  ???  :;): Again very nice work and even more amazing ... That was take with a Cell Phone !!! :O
