That is true, not all CBT Eng, Recovery Maint., etc. are on MBTs. Some have there own chassis like the ACE, M88, etc. ... Some are on APCs, there were M113 proto-types for Engineering, AVLB, etc. ... And this is what L4's units use ...

we all know the Trojan and the atlas from FW to W40K but the IG must have a ton of different engineer core vehicles personally i thing the atlas is a misfit nearly all special vehicles in IG is based on the chimera artillery tractor so i am working on a trench plow, recovery vehicle and a crane with the tractors i have left in my bit box next up is a "crab" style mine flail, dozer, digger and all other types of engineering vehicles |

No tank recover vehicles are always based on MBT chassis. |

Looks pretty good ! A VTR - Vehicle Tracked Recovery ... We had 1 per Mech Co., an M578 VTR. Nice job !
