Hey y'all. I've been working on a Redemptionist Crusade Army List, and I've started knocking up a few test models. I'm gonna blogify it to try to motivate myself. I decided to use chaos cultists as the basis for the army, though since I only have a few and it's going to be quite a horde I went for 3 per base. Hopefully the scenic basing makes up for this... The basing is obviously themed on the hives of Necromunda... Up first we have a few Brethren. These of course could neatly count as normal imperial guardsmen outside of the redemptionist list. ![]() Chaos cultists obviously, though the head spikes have been extented to full redemptionist hoods. Next up is a base of Zealots, made largely from Eldar guardians, with evicerators made from orc warboss weapons and greenstuffed robes. ![]() One of the cool things about this style of basing is that when you put the bases together you can build mini necromunda diaramas: ![]() ![]() |

Very cool. I like the scenic basing. A great idea. I can't wait to see more. Any idea about the pulpiteks and flakiteks? The FW ork wagons look like they are extened rhinos so they might work. |

That's all the painted stuff I have to date, but here's a selection of the WIPs: Here's a base of bikers, easily counting as rough riders in a guard list. These are basically just ork bikes with the guns cut off and GS hoods. I like the ramshackle look for the reds. ![]() Next up are a couple of WIP penitent engines (sentinels). These are made from the legs of old plastic sentinels, and various old ork weapons. ![]() ![]() Here's a WIP Redemptionist Priest (commisar/commander), made from half an old eldar guardian and half a chaos cultist. Not entirely happy with him. ![]() ![]() |

Lastly there's the WIP pulpitek (chimeras?). I still need to add the stained glass windows and a lot of detail before I cast it. ![]() For those of you who aren't necro-heads, the Pulpitek is the Redeemer's personal transport. Here's my 40k scale version... ![]() I would post some pictures of the pulpitek in the original comic, but it's copyright. |

I like the idea, but what I think is fantastic is the way the bases stack up - those mini necro dioramas are genius. Can't wait to see what else you come up with! |

As someone who has recently started playing necromunda again, I think the basing is just awesome. Keep up the great job. Laters |
