Hi :) I was a Child of the Eighties, and one of my favourite films when I was 6/7 was 'Tron'.

So I had to smile a nostalgic, dewey eyed smile when I saw these new releases from GZG on theminiaturespage.com;

To be honest, I can't see how I'd use them in an Epic army (though I'm sure others will :;): ), but I'm almost tampted to get some, just for nostalgia, really...

Thanks for looking!

Saw those as well.  Very tempted....

Hmm, would need some way to represent the walls created by the lightcycles though...

Wow ok those things are really cool, now what can I use them as... I wonder how big they are compared to Marine or Imperial bikes??  Looking at those though they are to sleek for Imperial stuff might need to be Eldar bikes instead..

My god. A childhood icon made 6mm.

But where are the infantry?

And I know what my tau LV's will be now!

Love those tanks. If I didn't already have a ton of bikes, I might be tempted to use the cycles for Squats. I could see them using a fully enclosed bike.

By the way, I can see the bikes having wings fitted and used as tetras - or were those piranhas? Anyway, the enclosed Tau thingies.
Although I'd not mess aroon wi' these - Tron is almost religion.  :blues: I'd even paint them the proper colours.

yes yes yes

I'm pretty sure I saw a paint at my local hobby store that you can mix with colors to allow a blacklight flourescent effect.

I fight for the users.

Looks cool ... I'll have to surf over to the GZG site.  And as someone commented on TMP, the some of the 2mm stuff can be used for 6mm.  I've done it with some of the 2mm weapons.

I wonder if we can convince Litko to produce some 6mm wall sections in their 'counter plastic' in red and blue?  :blues:

Hi Guys,

Very cool stuff.

I posted on the blog about them.

The sculptor and I are pals and he often sends me preview pics.

I hope to post a few sometime if he is OK with that.

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

Yes, I e-know John Lerchey too, from PA. He and I do some e-deals on occassions. And he made me all my Hammer's Slammer decals in 6mm.  I really like the 6mm Armor Car he did. And he paints up some very nice BT camo'd AFVs there too.  :;):

Strange but true: these arrived today. GZG managed to cast, pack, and ship these, then the UK and USPS postal dudes somehow made a transcontinental shipment in one week, during Christmas shipping season.

It's mind boggling.
