Hi all, After looking at your spectacular armies and conversions, i though i'd post some of mine ![]() I've borrowed a friends camera, which I don't know how to use, so apologies for the dodgy shots. Any tips for getting good close ups? My seem to come out blured, especialy the infantry. I couldn't get any decent shots of my oblitorators or exarch conversions. First off, Chaos Word Bearers. For some reason the red comes out very bright and glossy in the photos.. its not like that in real life. Also, the silver trim doesn't seem to gave come up. Note, I havn't painted any of my daemons, air craft or titans yet :-/ Army Shot ![]() ![]() Some infantry clos ups ![]() One of Reaver's excellent Decimator proxies ![]() ![]() ![]() MTF |

Thanks guys ![]() The_Real_Chris - Those Decimators are some of Reaver's excellent resin cast proxies. He also makes a 'Robotic Wheel' and an 'Escape Pod'. I'd have got some of them too, but I think the death wheel concept is abit weird. So any tips for getting good close ups? Also, how do I lock the windows? |

Really like the Eldar and you got a great deal on those british minis. So any tips for getting good close ups? Press this symbol on the Camera (Macro function) ![]() If already doing that use a tripod as well and set your camera with a timer so it doesn't have any vibrations from your hand when taking the photo |

Also, even with the macro setting, it is still possible to get too close with your camera. Play with the distance until you find the minimum distance your camera needs to focus. |

I find that with my Camera, if you zoom it past about 40% of the max zoom on Macro the photo blurs no matter how still it is so I have to either get the camera at a better distance or take a high mega pixel photo with less zoom than I want and then just cut the bit of the photo that I want out, since I have to drop the resolution for posting anyway. |
