Okay, so it's not Epic but it is 6mm... One of the sculpting lists I subscribe to did a fast sculpting challenge this weekend. I only had 3 hours to spare, so thought I'd do a 6mm figure. I'm well pleased with him, so I thought I'd show him off - my 6mm Spartan Hoplite! regards, Reaver |

Hmm, lots of 6mm ancient manufacturers. My favorite is Baccus. I play warmaster ancients but again there are many rule sets out there. Really nice sculpt Reaver. |

6mm is definitely the way to go for Ancients, IMHO. |

Thanks for the positive feedback, everyone! And I must agree, Baccus do excellent stuff - I've been a fan of their ECW range for a long time now. As for Warmaster, it's a good system, and WMA has fixed some of the bugs it had, but I can't help wondering if the E:A ruleset could be adapted for historical stuff; and it shouldn't be too hard to do. Strip out the Aero section, the Warmachines, transports, AVs, and you'd have a very fast-playing, streamlined ruleset - I think I'll try it and see if it works! I feel a PDF coming on... Regards, Reaver |

It's funny, I played E:A recently, and remarked that it reminded me in many respects to Warmaster. Warmaster are an excellent ruleset. I think if you tinker with E:A, you will just end up with Warmaster, so why bother? P.S. - Love the spartan. Now you need a 15mm Xerxes! |
