I've started work on a Dreadclaw type drop pod, and have correctly scaled it from the FW 40k version. Thing is, it's pretty big! I don't have any SM drop pods, so can't compare, but here's the basic shape next to a Marine. So, is it too big? Or should I keep working at this (correct) size? Regards, Reaver |

Looks good to me! I think it's pretty much the size of an SM pod, or maybe a tad bigger, which is good. |

It's fine, Dreadclaw's should be bigger c'os they are flyers and can liftoff after landing. |

I think you should make it fit on the head of a pin. |

Head of a pin might be a twee too small. Fit on a 20x20mm base will do nicely....just didn't want it to consume too much resin |

I'm getting on with this now, hopefully I'll have more pics tomorrow. i'm not sure how well it'll go, though... it already looks like being a nightmare to mould, and I haven't added all the spiky bits yet! regards, Reaver |

Okay, here's the latest version, just needs a bit of tidying up now... Problem is, I think the moulding and casting are going to be a real headache. Don't hold your breath, anyone! regards, Reaver |
