I think the 'flame' design you've used is realy good (and to me at least - original, the hardest thing to do in GW systems).

Thanks guys. I can't say it is particularly original. I'm actually trying to copy the paint scheme of Jonas Ekestam's Eldar :;):
http://www.eldaronline.com/images....pic.jpg

I felt that the blue is a bit too bright on my version so instead I've painted the flame/wave black and then highlighted it to blue.

Also I'm painting up some guardians as I think the old ones I painted up back in 1993 are a bit outdated :D  I'll post a comparison shot once the new ones are finished.

Cheers! :)

More Eldar stuff. This time a Vampire Raider I'm working on. It's not quite finished yet as I've just washed the underside with a brown/black mix. It needs tidying up with bleached bone later on.
One thing is I can't quite decide if I want to highloght the individual hexagons on the top armour of the aircraft. I've seen some people do it but I'm not too hapy with how it looks. On the other hand the surface looks a bit bland without something added. Any suggestions?

Cheers! :)

Quote (Warmaster Nice @ 15 Jan. 2006 (14:46))
Wash with thined down Regal Blue.

Those are really nice. I am getting around to painting up some of my Guardians (soon, maybe 8-12 months!) and I may steal the thin paint wash idea. I tried this with my Tyranids, but had not thought about it for the Eldar. Thanks.
