I have added some Ork Gubbinz to my Ork Killa Kan.

I have also found a base I can use as well.

Jimbo> Can you give me some rough dimensions on that Havoc rack, mate? I've been looking at it for a while as a possible Barrage Missile Launcher, but not sure how it'd work scale-wise, and haven't been able to lay my hands on one to check :(

Hi Dysartes,

That missile rack would be too big for anything but a Superheavy, Praetorian or a Titan.

It looks ridiculously large on most Superheavies too.

Rough estimates:
Height: 1 & 1/2 inches
Width: 2 inches
Length: 2 & 1/2 inches

Shabbat Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

I was going to use one one the Banelord I'm going to convert when I *eventually* get round to doing my Epic Iron Warriors army... (emphasis on eventually! :p  )

The width of the missile launcher is 25mm, the height is 18mm and the depth is 23mm.

I think it is slightly too large for most Epic vehicles, but would work well for Chaos and Orks.

I am certainly going to give it a try the next time I have another one.

Here is the launcher with a ruler, an Epic Hellhound and an Epic Skorchaz.

Don't suppose you've got a Reaver or Warlord to hand for a size comp, Jimbo? :)

Actually, it doesn't look that bad in terms of size, for a weapon that'd be mounted on either Reaver or Warlord carapace mounts.

I shall have to investigate further.

Haha! I have something to show at last... :D

Finished this Warhound last night; it will be the start of my Lucius Legio, based for Cityfight, and using all of the 'modern look' pattern titans- (I was originally planning to enter it in the painting comp, but didn't finish it in time).

I'm really chuffed with it, and I hope you like. :)

Nice Warhound!

I finally got (most of) my 40k Tau desert steppes army painted.  Played in a 1913-point Rogue Trader with Mech Tau (instead of my usual Battlesuit horde), got spanked.  I was a bit too agressive with the Fire Warriors, but the Devilfish with Burst Cannon and Smart Missiles (it's an upgrade in IA3) were disgusting.  ESWAT will follow later, funding willing (but I'm not using GW figs for most of that one!).

I'm also building a Japanese fleet for a friday night game at my FLGS.  The guys keep talking about wanting to play a game set in 1942, which makes me    with glee.

I made my Flames of War pre-order, should arrive by the end of the month.  I ordered Desert Rats, Desert Fox, and the Italian books, as well as the LRDG and SAS raiding parties.  I hope that they'll expand the raiding stuff with a Carlson's Raiders set (but a 15mm SS166 hull is going to be huge!), but if they don't I'll just improvise one.

Wow, nice looking Warhound, stormy. I still prefer the original Warhounds, but I like FW's better than GW's current Warhound.
