The world eaters do seem to be a popular choice for 30k these days. :)

The Proteuses (Proteii?) look brilliant. Looking forward to this army coming together.

Wow, really nice World Eaters stuff. I have been drooling over the Storm Eagle and mentally kicking FW for not making it in to Epic ever since I saw it the first time. I’ve always tought that oldschool coloured World Eaters are proper Finnish berzerkers since they have the same colours as Finland’s flag. ;D Liked the pyramid on tracks earlier also, made me want to read Necropolis. It’s had some good reviews.

Hey Gibletgrinda thanks for your kind words sir.

Necropolis was the inspiration for the pyramid engine i must admit although i could not make it to scale without it being huge. The book describes it as being about 500 metres per side at the base if i remember correctly.

Next up we have more landraiders.

These are true epic relic tanks as these are four original plastic models from my first edition space marine 1 boxed set. They had been stashed away probably to never be used again but now with this design seeing a new lease of life especially for the heresy period i thought they'd make a great booster to my heresy project.

I'm quite pleased with the over all look of these ancient dated models they came out better than expected. Next up will be some sicarans i just need to take some pictures of them.

Looking great mate . It's nice to able to still use models that first can out in 1989 as they are now classed as a 30k design LR proteus .Which ruleset are you going to be using with your Horus Heresy project?

In truth i never expected to use these models and almost put them up for sale at one time but after FW did their updated 40k version i was glad that i kept them. Just goes to show that you never know what old models you may find a use for.

Rules well probably EA's heresy suppliment to start with but i love the 3rd edition rules set so that is also a possibility once the update has been completed.

Well I have been playing loads of adeptus titanicus and 1st ed SM as love this original Horus heresy ruleset (I know most people prefer 2nd ed onwards) . But on Friday had a full day of playing all the training missions and then an adapted Titan mission from the EA rule book. As there are the heresy rules on tac com I think that is the ruleset I will using for 30k epic.

Everyone has a favourite epic rule set and that's fine with me to each his own. :)

Being an infrequent player myself i prefer rules sets that are easy to remember get back into after a long break. I also like to put a lot of models on the table so for me E40k is my preferred rule set and is the set that i've always had the most fun playing with.
