Hi,

I've done some progress on my Tyranids, and here are the results:

... and side view.


For these, I've used a Gaunt body and claws instead of legs.

Hi,

I'm back with lots of pics of my "new" Eldar army. Wall, it's not new actually, but I've done quite a lot of work on my Iyanden army :

- I've repainted the edges of the stands (from Scorched Brown --too dark-- to Snakebite Leather --looks better on green tables) ;

- my "Iyanden yellow" was more like some "very bright Bad Moon yellow" (i.e. much too bright), so I applied a Golden Yellow glaze on all my models and now it looks better (well, I think so ?:p );

- I've added some new units to fill in the gaps in my army (Scorpions SHT, another converted Storm Serpent, a spacecraft, plus some Falcons and Firestorms).

It actually took me longer than I thought it would, but now I have a nice 7000 points, so no regrets. :)

Next step, some Blast markers from Litko aero systems and then I'll go back to painting some Tyranids.

Superb Hojyn! As I always say, nothing beats army shots!!

What did you use for the bases? Seeing this I am more and more of the opinion that circular bases give the best look to epic armies...

Also how delicate are those Swooping Hawks?  :O
That join on the top of the ruins can't be much - are they just stuck there with normal plastic cement?

I used plastic tokens.

I bought 2-300 on Ebay some time ago, but the trouble is I have no idea what they actually are and I don't know where to find more. I have enough for the time being, but still...  ???

Yes, just normal plastic cement. My favorite type of glue.  :p

As of today, I haven't had any problems with them, they are not that delicate.

Hi,

The pictures are horrible again, even Photoshop couldn't do anything about those "pink" stands...  :angry: I really need to buy a lamp and a "blue light" lightbulb in order to get better pictures.
