I need to do some gun tractors/transports for my old style knight army and i'm after some feedback on hull ideas.

Which of these do people think looks best?

(backs of the chimera and russ hulls would have holes filled, could add gubbins etc, just going for basic shape at this stage)

for my money I'd say the chimera hull looks best, but tbh they're all pretty good, the termite carrier looks the least 'Games Workshop Grimdark Aesthetic (TM)' ;)

I'll put in a vote for the bombard hull - looks like it could really haul ! :-) Plus it's bitz efficient.

for me

#1 Termite - just looks like it melds together well and more recovery than combat geared
#2 Bombard - as for the reason mention above, power and grunt
#3 Chimera - Looks ok but very generic.

Bombard for sure. I think it would fit best with the old style of the rest of the army. It also looks most appropriate for a support-style vehicle for reasons I can't quite put my finger on.

Thanks for the input all, thinking it over I could use different types of tractors/transporters for different formations. Bombards chassis for howitzers, chimera for light arty, few termites to mix and match etc (want it to be compatible with NetEA and EUK so far as possible, so will need some extras).

Got a lot of paint stripping to do now :spin

cheers

Devil's advocate: if they are the same unit (stats-wise) it could be a bit confusing for opponents if they're represented by different models?
