...And as promised here's the comparison shot next to a FW Baneblade.

With all the extra armour plating the model ended up a tad on the large side. Especially length wise. Then again I never said this was going to be an exact replica of the FW model so... As long as people can recognize that it is supposed to be a Macharius I'm happy. :D

Well you didn't have to wait very long :D

Since I am wokring on some EW stuff that us using the same color palette I thought I might as well give the Macharius a coat while I'm at it. (And btw Tom the Engineers just need the basing now :;): )

I think I might have to add a bit more shading. Especially around the turet since that was painted seperately. However that could also just be the flash (I didn't bother to rig up my good camera for this...)

That is awesome! Drat, if only it didn't have Imperial Eagles and GW heavy bolters on it, I could attempt to bribe you into casting it up for EW :p.

Don't GW hold an early patent on exposed tracks too?  I've certainly not seen much sign of them on any AFV since WWII.  :alien:
