Hi Guys,
Another little project on the go! After listening to an audio cd about amphibian named large robots that go to save a very religious worlds thats defended by ladys in armour! It has very much inspired me to build a game scenario round this ;)

The board/table will have to be very much gothic scene, i.e cathedrals, churches etc and the minis will be green robots, ladys, and priests supported by various other armour support and all in defense to save the living relic from the red tide.

The only problem will be as you know sourcing the buildings but im looking into n gauge train stuff at the moment and may attempt some plastic card sheeted buildings using stain glass window transfers from hobbly shops!

Regards epic

You know with this paint scheme it is only one step away to start a Salamanders army? :)

;D Yeah, funny you should say that ;D i did try black shoulder pads but breaks up the mini a bit to much ;) Will get some transfers for the taxi and other items as my white dragons heads never end up looking the same freehand ;D

Cheers for the comments guys, As for chapter colour schemes to paint these guys, any chapters with white helmets come out very cool and are quick to complete as you can just lighty black wash the helmet to bring out the detail, green helmets with red eyes take ages! but the end result stands out a bit more.

You need only three strokes to paint a decent Salamanders head at this scale :)

Good call black legion,
Will give it a go, may have to try another black shoulder pad with the three white lines painted! The last lot i did for the space wreck where limited on what i could add due to been in space wreck they could not have the overhead banners etc but this time i will be adding battle honours and banners etc!

Just need to get myself a printer and work out how to re size stuff to print the little banners, I used sticky postage labels folded over on my titans then painted bleached bone, and they stay flexible so you can bend them to look like an actual flag, may try this for the banners and see how my freehand goes.

Cheers for the logo help, regards epic

Cheers for the comments guys, Yeah very simple but adds a little bit of life to the model, Did consider basing it and make the base with crash landing type marks as if it had dragged up the earth, but decided against it as im not sure how these things land i.e is it a controlled landing like a thunderbrick or do they just hit the ground and churn the the earth up until the engines are turned off and they finally grind to a halt ::)
