Slick retrofit & nice use of bits there. 8)

That's going to look great once painted!

Hehe. ;D
Well I've uploaded all the photos to the old forum directly, so they're most likely gone when we switched software. L4 and Raty uses Photobucket accounts (or similar) and just link to the photos. Sorry about that :)

Well, get on it, then! You've got 40-something pages to repost :)

Or, you know, link to a Photobucket account!

I permitted myself a few hours away from the studies to finish a couple of old projects.
First the Warmonger weapon retrofit.

The Mekboy Gargant is sweet! How did you make the body?

As a minor observation, the right army looks uncharacteristically restrained for an Ork Gargant though (or am I being thrown by the overall scale?) :)

Cheers guys :)

Yeah, uhm well. Mr. Bojangles (The Mekboy Gargant/Soopa Stompa) was inspired by this illustration...from Titan Legions/Codex Titanicus I think. It just had really big feet and looked kind of cute. Well that, and I was just looking for something inexpensive in my bits box that would do the trick. I just keep seeing this guy tapdancing all over the battlefield for some reason. Realistic or not...
It's a rework on an old scratch build, so it is really just a whle lot of bits stuck together to make the body shape from scratch. I poured some plaster inside to make it a bit more sturdy. I agree with the arm looking a bit funny, but when viewed head on it is actually symetrical. Besides it's orks, so anything goes really :D

Now that I got some time, I'm painting up some stuff to fill a few gaps in NetEpic Gold. Here's a WIP Reaver titan. Apologies for the mediocre lighting. The red shading is a bit more pronounced in real life (But then again red is always a tricky color to photograph for some reason :P )
