Thanks! I forgot to mention I tried out a new technique on the gold to attempt to make it more aged by sponging the hightlight rather than painting it.

Well this last week was spent mostly finishing up the remaining conversion/scratch building for the third minorus. It's still missing the little spotter aircraft that's about halfway finished, but that's easy to add after the painting is done. If all goes well, that painting will be done this week. :)

Thanks! There will be a small fighter similar to a lysander that goes on the pad. It's partly complete, still has the forward fuselage, engine intakes and tale segment to go.

I'm surprised you didn't recognise the plasti-card with your own similar talents - that's actually a scratchbuild in that sort of style, the rectangular FW landing pad is a good 4 times the size or more of that.

What's the pink in the places? Is that coloured plast-card or something else?

Im pretty sure it is the FW landing pad but cut down. The floor plate has had the outer section trimmed off and new sides added? (could be totally wrong, as i've never seen one irl)

*edit actually, thinking aobut it i suppose that would indeed make the FW landing pad tiny ;D top stuff :)

Plus you can see the same orange card used on the Harbinger scratchbuild through the undercoat.
