You're quality is good enough for Forgeworld, but you would really need to speed up to make it economical for yourself. From what little I know, To make it worth while as a proper income, you'd need to cut the speed of the SoB down by a factor of 5 (!).

However, if done purely to extend your hobby, I think it would be a great move, for you and other collectors :D

Well, I figured about the same, since I read somewhere that some epic infantry were done in 8 hrs or somesuch and of course the fact that Will Hayes did the original Tau Stuff in breaks inbetween his regular work (!).

If I did it, it would not be *purely* as an extension to my hobby, but on the other hand I wouldn't want to make it a full time career either, since I am pursuing a degree in Translation (Japanese and Chinese into German), as well as taking courses in teaching German for foreigners.

I'm thinking somewhere inbetween those two extremes, ideally some freelance work to help cover some of my expenses while at the University (which will be at least another 2.5 years I suppose).
After all getting paid for something that's (mostly) fun is not bad at all..., you can land worse jobs...

But still, even for that I think I ought to at least double my working speed, before approaching them.

By the way, you (any of you) don't happen to know by any chance whether they take interns?

We ARE serious. That SoB gives the multi-part Grey Knights a run for their money. ?Not to mention the Techpriest. And the...

Funny you mention it, that Marine (I assume you mean the normal Marine, since I don't know of Multipart Grey Knights) was what started me doing all those WIP multipart pieces I showed you. I would dearly love to do a multipart range for FW, *that* would be fun ... Well, as I said: one can dream (even though one probably shouldn't in this case :-:)

Cheers,

Drasannar

Hi!

I spoke to him sometime ago and he is just very busy with "real life", so time for such endevours is much limited.
