Thanks guys.
I also discovered an IG assault company I'd forgotten all about. It is almost finished and only needs detailing and bases so they've been given top priority.
The'll be a part of my Tech Guard Army I think. I plan to build a clasical TL era Mechanized assault company which means that I'll also have to convers some chimera Variants. These are what I had in mind:
Chimero: Standard E40k Chimera w. Hunter Killer missile turret. Chimedon: Chimera hull w. FW Conqueror turret. Chimerax: Not sure. Maybe use Flak Wagon turret guns glued to the sides of a Chimera turret though it may look too clumsy.
Cheers!

Hi,
If anyone is using Amazon (.co.uk or .com) this year to buy presents, please use either a link from my website |
Sorry Jimbo, I completely forgot about this.
@WMN: Great work again. It will be nice to see those Chimera conversions.
Cheers, Freshmetal

Seems a lot of us are in gaming "slumps". I havent gamed since the summer of 04'.
| Same here. Though I don't miss gaming much - conversions and painting are so much more fun...
The current conditions at home are not very far from a warzone, since the whole power installation required an exchange after nearly five decades of use. In the end, its a good thing, but I'll have to temporarily move both the computer and all my miniatures to another room, so that none of them get damaged when the installation will be exchanged.
Got some nice dentist tools for sculpting. These work great indeed.
I also bought blister packs of Witch Elves and Dark Elf Harpies for a conversion project that has been lingering in my mind for a fair while. But I'll keep the exact identity of the project secret for the time being...
Converted one of the spare Witch Elves a little, will start painting her soon. Made the base for the second Celestian. Same theme as the first one, ie bones and bleak wasteland. Prepared two Special Weapon Battle Sisters (Meltagun + Storm Bolter), taking the opportunity to sculpt goggles on the meltagun one. Made a little further work on Malachai, Raziel and the two Raven Knights, but I'll have to spend some more time on each of these before I can call them done.

Thanks again guys.
I've finished those Assault troops as well. They're nothing special, but they're passable.
Cheers!
