Personally I agree with L4 on the titan front in terms of theory. Titans should be large gun platforms, land battleship style.
Or, they can be used for siege assault roles – close range weapons and wrecking gear is fine here as static fortifications are too slow to run away from a titan and may require the 'next level' of weapon to breach in order to avoid stand offs.

However, when it comes to playing EA in anything other than a narrative/themed battle i'm right in with CCWs and short/mid range weapons on titans :D

Wait, L4, you don't understand! That's a flack-titan, very practical. I agree it can't hope to catch up with and assault tank companies on land. It uses the CCWs to defend against air assaults, just jumps up and swats thunderhawks out of the sky!

Well at least you got the theory ... ;) My preaching has not all been invain ! :o Or you were tactically savvy enough to see the paradigm ... :D ;D Of course the way we play Epic ... if you show up on the board with any CCWs ... you'll die in an inferno of explosions and fire ... >:D <MWWWAAHAHA !!!!> :whistle ^-^

hmm not biggest actually, i have a deathstrike head somewhere … seems i need to magnetise even more things! will stick to painting a bit here and there for now though, magnetising is more time and space intensive!

Hi!

Bah, in AT the easiest method to kill another titan was with close combat weapons.

I'll take the 3 armed titan doing the "typhoon attack pattern" in those cases. ;)
