Pretty much! plan to do an SHT decoy company with different tanks i can swap out on one set of orgyns. Hadn't thought of gym-teacher ogryn. Was going to have one with a smoke machine (rattling size cigar) and one doing the sound effects (coconut halves for a clip clop horse noise), gym-gryn maybe does the 3rd
When i need deathstrikes the SHT cut-outs will be replaced by small paper aeroplanes. This has the advantage of being able to throw them at my opponent when fired.
Chimeras won't be ogryns, they'll be mk1 gorgons. For sentinels i'm torn between ogryns on stilts vs light tanks.
They'll be regular Steel Legion, 2–2.5k points augmented with titans/navy for tournament use. Should work out well from a fluff perspective. 3rd war o' 'geddon was one of the few times an entire ogryn regiment has been fielded as a body. The ogryn planet Monglor was also in full revolt at the same time its regiment was fighting with the imperials on geddon, so it makes full background sense for them to be fighting against marines and other IG in addition to the enemies of the imperium.
No idea on colours though. Not sure what sort of world Monglor was. Don't want to to do just grey. Might do deathworld jungle colours, or maybe a sort of maroon and dark indigo cammo. Any ideas?
