Hi Tas,

Tas: Ive looked for some 6mm fantasy type Ogres to pad them out but no luck so far.

I'm trying to think of who has good figures for this.

I'll look through my 6mm fantasy box and see what I have.

You might also want to check out 10mm figure lines.

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

Today I started working on an Imperator conversion.  It won't be as smart as that Galatia Pattern conversion posted a few months back, I've just giving it a bit of chopping around to give it more of a dynamic pose.  I intend to mount it on a scenic base, striding over the blasted remains of a Mega-Gargant.

I've not been neglecting my big paint, jusst I'm at my girlfriends this week and my paints are at my uni digs in Liverpool - hence I've been working on a few new minis.  I'll post pics by the end of the week. :)

I have been working on my 40K Orks, though I did find a little time to paint a Bowelburna.

Well "P" ... I'm generally with you ... but lately I've been ... "taking leaps of Faith" !   If I can't get a hold of 3rdI, we might post some more pics tonight or Sunday !  :D   Mrs. 3rdI keeps him very busy ... one reason we have not gamed at all in a long, long time ... however I can't blame him ... if things would have gone in another direction ... I may have been in a similar situation !   :p  Off to call him again !

I'm back working on epic stuff for the first time in a while.

First off 2 ork pulsa rockits, 2 shokk guns, and a whole bunch of  marines -razorbacks, preds, infantry, speeders, well everything really!

Then I must get at least one warlord and a few warhounds done.

I wont dare to voice my opinion on the release date of the Feral Orks - I'mmore optomistic than most when it comes to Fanatic - I try to be thankful for anything we get, however late, but I'm still none to happy with the state of affairs as it aear to currently be!

Moving swiftly on, I thought I'd post something totally different that I've been doing a little work on & more to the point, its actually not for a customer for a change, but for myself!!

I'm determined to get my 15mm Soviets collection painted by christmas & it includes a number of objective pieces which are giving me a nice break from the soviet colours :D
Here's the first of my wrecked German vehicles - a Halftrack which Red intelligence is sure contains an officer with details of the next Axis thrust  :80:  :blues:

Nice objective, Tuffskull!  I've been working on my Imperator conversion, mainly preparing the base.  It's a (spare, junk) cd, and I had to cut the upper torso of a spare Mega Gargant model so that it was low enough for the Imperator to be stepping on it.

This has proved tricky!  I nearly glued my finger to the cd ???  in the process. Plus I'm not gluing the Titan's body to the legs so I can paint them seperately and try and get all those hard to reach parts, this has made putting the leg which is standing on the Gargant tricky as I need it to be at the right height to connect with the torso!  This wasn't made easy by the fact the pin which connects the leg to the torso snapped today as well :O

I intend to take pics and post them tomorrow.

Thanks for thekind words guys  :D

There's some old pics of my soviets on my Mercenary brush website here.

I hope to get the pics updated in the next few weeks though - there's now a good few more painted pieces than those pics show

More pics of the objective also went up in my last update last night & can be seen in the FoW Objectives gallery
