These look simply amazing man! I was wondering how those microworld guns would look on the side of a space marine vehicle, and they look awesome! Love the skulls.

where did you get those sponson guns from? I have a feeling they'd make great missile pods for some models i'm working on.

Yep, Kyuss is correct, MWG dwarf gattling guns from the artillery set:

had the gattling parts spare after using the cannon barrels for fantasy

Ideal fit i think – they are a bit chunky compared to the barrel used for the turret gun (SG ork flackk wagon) but it's not too noticeable now they are painted i hope. I just drilled a hole, stuck em in then greenstuffed over the split in the side hatch to it looked less like a door.

The end is almost (almost, as in give me 2 more years …) in sight for khorne I hope. Think I still need to do:
2 death dealers
4 brass scorpions (small)
n? brass scorpions (war engines)
2 ferals
greater daemon (got 2 + angron, might just do one for now), ideally some more bloodletters as well
8 bikes
4 drop pods
4 rhinos
doomblasters (got 8 old ones, but really tempted to kitbash something though using a mix of old epic parts, undecided!)
1 banelord (AKA: 'cuddles' the berserker titan!)
ideally some more blood slaughts

tons of other bits i'd like to do, like custom juggers, and repaint lots of the khorne from a couple of years back which now looks out of place next to newer bits … but i've just had enough of red and bone. :{[]

Really keen to do some imperials in 2013, EUK titans, Sons of Medusa marines or generic guard … will probably finish khorne enough to flesh out my use of them as Black Legion proxies then take a break.

Angron more or less done – temporary base until i can find 'the right sort of rock' for the lava base (will be a base similar to my daemon prince, standing out over lava on a rocky outcrop). Angron will be used as a bloodthirster, i really don't need 3 and the 2 old style ones i have are covered in skulls i can't be bothered to paint ::)

Not sure what's next, probably either painting some old school daemon engines or the feral conversion work.

Nice, i'll look into that, makes much more sense to use a volcanic rock than the mudstone i was planning to use (thought i had some in the top of my modelling box, seems not). Cheers for the tip.

Had to do some varnising, so took a (slightly blurry …) mini group shot of models painted in the last month or so:

I did the same with my Khorne Cannons ... adding the heads really makes them a better model. I got the idea from here ... maybe from you Apoc !

Wow that's an awesome collection. Are the Blood Slaughterers your own sculpts?

4 old style brass scorps done.
Got 2 death dealers to do to match up, as a formation, with my tower of skulls pair, but I think i'll move onto warhounds next, maybe …
