I need a bit of help deciding... I'm working on the Tallarn section of the Lounge. I've made a bunch of CGIs of tanks but I can't decide which pic to use for the Mechanized infantry...

or

What do you think?

Great pics, W/N ... but those are Air Assault Infantry (like I was in the 101)! Mech Infantry (like I was with the 2ID and 197th Mech) would be in Chimeras, Gorgons, etc. ...

Ah! Well I'm just batching all the transports together on one page. I think the Tallarn pages can be ready late tonight or early tomorrow.
Cheers!

Agreed, both look nice, but my vote is for the top one.

Seeing it in context has only made me more sure you used the right one.
Well done!

The Iron Angel is progressing. Head & Torso are painted, legs almost done too.
However, someone has borrowed my friends digicam. He was supposed to return it today - he didn't. Since the last date for sending in entries for the painting contest is tomorrow, this means that any chance for me entering the Iron Angel has been completely and totally screwed. Might try re-touching the originals of some of my older minis, but I doubt they will stand a chance in the contest - at least not as much as the Iron Angel would.

Still working on the Titan galleries for the Lounge. Most of the pics are ready. I just need to do some CGI ofr the headlines. Unfortunately none of the pic material I have right now is suitable so I need to do a few more pics tomorrow.
Cheers!

I finally got the building permit out of st. Bureaucraticus so I guess my "free" time has been booked solid for some three months, taken up by a 1:1 scale model of two bedrooms and a very small bathroom. But considering thet one of the said rooms (no, NOT the bathroom) will become my very own war room after it has been finished I guess it's worth it.
And T5H, I hope we still get to see pics of the Iron Angel someday? It sounds like a VERY cool model.

| You certainly will.
Today at 5:00 AM I have finished painting him. Total of approximately 30 hours, including 9 hours from 8 PM yesterday to 5:00 AM today, including 1 hour spent on the freehand Chapter badge design. The finished miniature doesn't look decent or good - it looks glorious. I didn't expect it to look that good myself. Comparison to my regular DA's is like that Celestian Battle Sister I shown you a few weeks ago to my "normal" TT-quality Sisters.
It seems, however, that all the fate and the world are against me. I forgot to take the box with the mini from home and my mother's cellphone isn't answering. Seems she either forgot to charge it or accidentally turned it off - AGAIN.
I ****ing hate it when this sort of things happen. My only hope now is to try to convince the contest organizer to give me one day more. Otherwise all my work is down the drain.

It seems not all is lost. A taxi trip back home and then back here again was possible (altough a tad expensive), and now I hold the Iron Angel in my hands. My friend has a digicam built-in into his cellphone. I guess the picture quality is going to be poor, but it's the best chance I have.
BTW, a few weeks back I was all mad at losing my copy of Diablo due to degraded CD surface... guess what? Yesterday, I accidentally found a backup copy made about a year and a half back, when my old CD drive was wearing off and any normally minor read error would end up in total unability to read the disc. I had to make copies of several CD's on a friends' machine to be able to run some games... Diablo included. I thought I disposed of that copy long ago - looks like it survived, though, and that's good news for me. I'm not taking chances now, so an ISO of the disc landed on my HDD that very evening.
