There is one more unit of guardians to go so that will be fit into the weekend somewhere.
I will be turning back to assembly mode after that to get the fliers together and get the rest of the falcons and wave serpents ready to do once the GW order arrives and the units to go with them are ready. Hopefully the air force will be able to start rolling out the doors in their nice shiny new color scheme by the end of the weekend.
I am also planning on doing one of the warp spider units over the weekend. Their is a cool Warp Spider exarch that comes with the Avatar model so I will use that for the exarch in the second unit but I was thinking of doing an Exarch in golden armor for the first exarch. Since the Eldar Prophecy novel was a part of the inspiration for the army it could represent the character from the book.

All right finished another unit of Guardians.
So after spending 1 week on this army I just wanted to figure out how much I have achieved and how many points it would equate to.
Painted so far:
Seer Council 100
Guardian Warhost 300
- 3 Wraithguard

So thats 2200 points painted up so far in a week and 8 formations out of 34 for the army. Considering a standard tournament army is 3000pts thats not bad so far if I don't say so myself!

Mate,
Fantastic stuff, they are looking great. The Warp Spider Exarch sounds very cool. I cant wait to see the airforce roll out over the course of the weekend.

Wow, didn't realise how tired I ended up last week painting 2200 points as well as my day job and getting two children fed and to and from kindy, daycare and dancing lessons and cleaned up after each day until I sat down today and ended up falling asleep for half the day..... and waking up to a huge mess after two little girls went unsupervised for hours.
I may not end up getting too much painted over the weekend. I have assembled all the forge world fliers today (except the little fighters which went into the too hard basket for now due to being fragile, not having anywhere to attach flying stands and being kind of fiddly) I am really impressed with FWs fliers they are amazingly cool looking models. I am really looking forward to painting them.
The other thing I have done today is converted up the first warp spider exarch (with a big double handed sword) and assembled the rest of his unit.
I am hoping I can get hold of a couple of 40K Guardians so I can make up some exarchs for the shining spears based roughly on this conversion that I done for Kim's army (the shoulder thingies are used to add wings to the side of a jetbike to bring it in line with shining spear bikes) though I am not sure what weapons the riders will have yet. Right hand will be holding the spear instead of a farseer weapon and the left will have some sort of CC weapon.

All right. Completed the first unit of warp spiders.
The Exarch is supposed to represent one of the characters in the Eldar Prophecy novel that had golden warp spider armor.
Didn't quite get onto the Air force painting like I expected as I done a lot of assembly and basing stuff. I also have been working on some counters, blast markers and objectives to go with the army.
The original post shows how much assembly I have done now. Should mean I can get though a reasonable amount next week.
Next weekend will be a complete no painting weekend as its my daughters birthday and people are driving 500kms to stay with us for the weekend.

I'll give it a shot. Don't know if my Camera is up to any more zoom than the ones I have been taking though. After being dragged around the world it doesn't work quite so well as it used to.

The rest of the army arrived today so I am trying to get everything assembled and check that all the units are made up.
I am also trying to figure out what to do for the objective markers. There is one extra wave serpent (which is lucky because I dropped one and broke it) so I have got a bit of a diorama in mind using that and also another objective using the extra titan bits. I also made up a bunch of over watch markers, broken markers and blast markers to go with the army (not pictured).
Here is pretty much the whole project so far.
I probably won't get anything painted tonight but should get most of it assembled.

All right. I have finished assembling everything in the list (edit - and some of the turrets on the FW tanks which need replacement) apart from the titans and fiddly little fighters. I still have to make the objectives once I can find some appropriate bases but everything else is assembled.
I was too enthusiastic about my Shining Spear Exarch conversion and I wanted to get it all assembled so I stole two jet bikes of Kim and 2 40 Guardians so I could make them up. One of them has a pistol and sword and the other is carrying a banner. Hopefully replacement guardians can be found before it gets to time to paint Kims 40K eldar for her.

It is all looking fantastic, I wont tell Kim if you dont about the Exarch. It looks like you have a mountain of work to do, not to worry I still have a few more weeks here in wonderland. Dont rush yourself mate, you are doing a fantastic job.
