Cheers, and thanks guys :) Here's the finished Hellstriders.

Next up: Guild Tanks.

Very nice job on both.

Thanks for the tutorial on painting pink stuff! Are the tanks black undercaot with a drybrush of... some green colour?
Love the Guild stuff. So angular and bulky. Looks very solid.

Very solid :p Hehe. Yeah. The Guild is a strange mix of modern and old fashioned principles of tank design. Essentially they weren't intended to be too high tech (In a war of attrition it is more sensible to produce lots of cheap and simple designs rather than expensive and sophisticated machinery, as WW2 showed), since there's some plans in the works for a race with some more advanced tech.

Ayway: The standard Guild armor paint job is black undercoat, catachan Green heavy drybrush and catachan green/camo green highlights. Then some light bands in desert yellow, washed with Devlan Mud and highlighted with desert yellow/skull white and some dark bands in scorched Brown washed with badab black.

WIP Tank Hunters. I figured I'd better hurry up if I'm to finish the entire batch before Tom heads off to India. Still some details and weathering to add but you get the idea.

Hey did you any of you guys ever see that Super Heavy scratchbuild over at Work In Progress that looked alot like a stug - I think it was meant to be a Shadowsword. I always thought that would make a killer epic Tank Destroyer or alternate look Shadowsword. I'll try and dig up a link to that later and post it as I am sure one of the enterprising modelers here could do an excellent Epic version of this...

Those TDs look great!  I especially like the abundant room on the skirt.  You can festoon those up with loads of Chaos symbols and pile on the ablative cultists.

That's really excellent too.  :agree:

The model I am referring to was a 40K scale superheavy. I think it may also have been featured on GWs website for awhile - I tried to find it on WiP last night but their search function is disabled or something because I wasn't having any luck with that.
