Looking good, even the rat style heads look like a good fit.

I'd never made the connection before but the creator of that model may well have been a visitor to my fair city...

Great idea!
Simple, yet very effective!

just swap out the wheel for spindly insect legs and they'd be perfect!

I like the conversion ! Easy enough to convert my completed Cannons ... just glue the heads on !

Please tell us what parts you used for the doomwheels

The usual Audrey pattern construction.
Although cutting the bevel off a pair of 40mm bases witha jeweler's saw seemed like a lot of effort to me, so I just used two disks of 1mm styrene – don't even need a spacer as you just glue direct into the track flange. Side parts GW chaos tank parts + the gun from an old style epic brass scorpion.

I am unfamiliar with that pattern, but thanks for the tips anyway :D

See this, very popular way to make them:

Bit of revenant WIP, i had planned to make 6 of these today but as you can see due to distraction i have about half of one (still need to do the guns, launchers, arms, 1 foot, tidy it all up etc)

I was thinking about making one of these myself, I was looking at the eldar jetbike and was thinking that the nose would be perfect for the shoulderpads on one of these. Have you have happened to finish this yet?

No further progress I'm afraid, I've had little hobby time this year :( Jetbikes are a good idea though.

Soo, cannons of khrone, muzzle replacement yes or no?
6 months later and i have finally finished the cannons … I got them mostly painted soon after the bare pics, before abandoning them. Been a bit busy recently, but finally had some hobby time and decided to polish these off:
