Painted up a pair of Slaanesh Questor Titans for NetEpic Gold. Still a few things to touch up and the grass needs to be toned down sith some thinned down paint. Apologies for the crappy pic: The flash kind of blurs some of the pastel colours out :p

Hehe, yeah, except for one thing: When painting these I realized that the small guns in their eyes make the model look kind of cross eyed when seen from the front. It looks kind of cute... which is a bit against the character of the models :p
Generally though, these models are quite nice. They look suitably alien and not just your average "throw spikes on an Imperial model" that you usually se GW do these days.
The downside is that -like Eldar- they take a bit longer to paint than other races. I find that some extra care needs to be taken with blending and highlighting to really make the models stand out. Usually I'd rely a lot more on faster techniques where imperfections are easier to hide. That said I did cheat a bit and drybrush the basic body of these models. They'd have looked better if I'd taken the time to smoothly blend the black areas of the model too.

It still amazes me that when I look at your minis I think, "I wish I could paint that well" , while at the same time you're pointing out the flaws, saying you rushed it or otherwise practically apologizing for substandard work.

Awesome job as usual, Warmaster.

" i apologize that my mini's are only near perfect today", way to give a guy a complex WMN

Sorry :D

But seriously: It IS far from perfect. Here's an updated pic with a few things corrected.

BTW Note the miscast in the Slaanesh symbol on the head. Both models got this. The weird thing is that it looks like it is a bit underneath the actual symbol that is damaged and the symbol has sort of sunk into the cap. I Anyone else have this error on their models? It looks a bit like a defect master model.

lol, o.k. o.k. but if you saw a pic that close up of one of my models, you would take my paint brushes away with a scowl.

You consider going back in with a unifying wash or glaze?  I have had good results from laying these over regular drybrushing.

Those are some "cute" fish'ead walkers and you painted them up nicely.  The older, non-spiky models definitely have more flavor.  That being said, I still can't believe what they go for on eBay considering they literally rotted on the shelves (like all the Slaanesh walkers) after they were released.

Mine is the same

You will immediately send your two miscasts to me for correct disposal.
