Very cool buggies.
I'd been trying to convince DRM that a Batman (tumbler?) style vehicle would be cool, but it looks like I need not push any more - I'll just have to put in an order with Exodus when I have some cash.

Hey - that would be a cool conversion, paint a buggy black and instead of a turret whack a shadow baron on the top, with some bat ears and utility belt  . The crouching pose would be superb for it.

Here's the first of the 3 buildings I'm working on. Like L4 correctly pointed out they're based on the AT foam buildings; hence the slightly crude details in places. I tried to disguise the foam"balls" by using a fairly thick acrylic paint fior the undercoat which was "dipped" on to give a textured surface. It worked in some areas but in other the original texture still shows through.

And here a view from a different angle. Singe the foam buildings only have windows on one side I thought I better build up some of the sides a bit to make them look more interesting.
Also the doors have just bee painted silver for teh time being. In time they'll be replaced with better looking cardboard versions.

And finally closeups "before" and "after" of the side reliefs. Not quite as good as the big center one. I'm not too pleased with the eldar/guard infantry one. The cavalry worked pretty well on the other hand. I think it was interesting the way you get a sense of motion by the varying angles of the Rough rider lances.
