The next time you get the chance to come on a thursday bring them along if you don't mind so we can have a closer look,even if they are not brought to use.

Hey Charad, I finally finished cutting the wing assembly for my Executor. ?The first one did not survive the move, so I started over. :glare:

It still needs sanding and a beveling, but the shape is done at least. ?What a pain in the butt to cut, I'll tell ya!

It is pvc foam board 3/16" thick, but it felt like steele. ?The Exacto knife blade got dull very quick - I went through 1 1/2 blades cutting them out. ?I printed out a design on the computer and taped it to the card, cut the design out first (inside cuts, then outside cuts), then followed the cut grooves with the blade once the paper was gone.

They look good. I made executors wings with exactly same method and material. But cutting was real pain so I bought small modelling saw and job got lot easier. What have you planned for main body?

Hey Charad, nice job once again.  You are the Archon of DE modeling. :D

I'm almost finished with my Executor.  A few smaller guns, the Webway portal, and then mounting it - ugh!  The dang thing weighs over a pound (I think that is almost half a kilo to you metric folks) and is bigger than the Manta.

Stick with it on the wings - don't let that PVC board get the best of you. :p
