Given that this sub-forum is now general 6mm, rather than specifically epic 6mm, i guess 6mm fantasy belongs in this thread.

Just worked my way through a glut of microwrold games 6mm skeleton infantry to clear the desk ahead of TOEG. The command stands, cavalry and monsters will have to wait.

So many bones... That's a lot of work painted to a very high standard. Most impressive.

Brilliant stuff, and so many of them. I do not know how you manage.

Thanks for the comments guys. While starting to pack the above lot away I unearthed my trio of skeletal mammoths, which had painted some time previously but not based:

They are not small.

Mammoths have a much muckier paint job – I wanted the inf to be similar but decided they might not stand out so well. The bigger areas on the mammoth gave more scope to experiment:

I don't normally like skeletal/undead armies, but yours is good. ;)

None at present. I base most things in multiples of 3 stands so they could potentially be used as mini warmaster.

Definately! The blue was an interesting choice. What made you go that colour rather than the traditional 'undead' earthly colours?

Just a side question; the bases. Any reason you did not keep them in line with the basing of the infantry? It appears that there is room to condense the base of the mammoths (albeit their tusks would be well outside any basing).

Just curious as many games would require the frontages to be consistent.
