Those rough rider chicken walkers are awesome. A cross between a tauntaun and a sentinel. Brilliant

For the first time artillery was deployed at the battle at the Khyboard Pass.

Hi!

Excellent display!

What is that box and how did you magnetize them?

Those boxes come in to flavours. As display boxes for watches and for jewlery. They are available from Amazon and others in a multitude of sizes. The jewelry boxes have a lower profile. Both kinds usually have some inlet that you will have to remove.
I glue a metal sheet to the floor of the box and cover it with some velour (self adhesive paper clad in velour).
The model bases have Neodym magnets as you can see on some of the photographs, which are strong enough to hold the miniatures despite the velour between magnet and metal.

Hi!

Excellent ideas and implementation I may have to explore myself! :)

Brumbaer, what is the printer you're currently using, and what mods have you made to it (if any?)

B9 Creator V 1.2

No mods. A bit of adjusting, though.

I use a Raspberry Pi with custom software instead of a PC to control it, but that is only workflow related no influence on quality.
