I've gone through the list at irregularminiatures WW1 and only found:

GWV14  Two explosions and two shell craters

Are these the blast markers shown by CyberShadow?

All I can find are something called Fire markers, in the 6mm Riot section. But there's no picture and they are 40p each!
Are these the same as the ones you pictured CS?

Both of you guys sound about right. 40p for two explosions and two craters sounds correct. I usually get them in a bag of about ten pounds worth. I have picked them up at a couple of shows over the last few years and have collected a fair number of these.

Anyone have any pics of these explosions and craters from irregular miniatures?

Cheers

Does anyone have scans from the old E40K boxed set of the markers sheets?  I wouldn't mind printing some out to use as a template for plasticard.

Here's something new from Litko Aerosystems:

$10 for 10 acrylic markers.  Not too bad, unless you need fifty or sixty of them.

[Blast Markers] What do you all use?

Skittles.

They're cheap and you get to eat them when you rally.

I'm still vaguely interested in those metal blast markers from page one.

At $0.50 Canadian each, these are fairly reasonable.

Yeah.  They're better than the Gale Force 9 ones, which are huge and 3 for $10, but still pricey.  I asked Ken Litko if he could make smaller ones for E:A;  we'll see if he replies.

Cotton wool shaped with PVA dries pretty strong then by the time you spray paint it it holds whatever shape you put it in.  I made hundreds of Blast Markers this way in one afternoon when we had a 40000 pt megga game made big ones for 5 BMs each and small ones for 1 BM each, just base them on different sized washers and they are cheap as.

I wish I could find a scan of the original counter sheets.  We could probably make blast markers fairly easily in etched brass.
