There is a thread in the IG forum on the Elysians in their current form. I'd be very interested to hear your conserns and any observations you have.

I've not played them, only observed the thread. In an extremely general term it just looks like it's missing something, I haven't been able to make any good mental army lists of my own yet. It's one that I'd probably buy a few models for and watch the development before committing to playing as an army, having said that, would try and proxy an army for it to playtest a recommended list if ever I could.

Yes, it's missing the Venator and heavy Valkyrie.  :)

I was posting this initially just as an idea to get people a little starter pack: rocket pods for the sides of the Support Sentinels, melta guns for the Drop Sentinels, some mortars and other things to help model the infantry; things to go with existing GW and FW stuff.

I think others have some ideas about doing a more extensive line, however.

Ah yes ... I see ...  I thought most were using the old IG Jump Pack Troops for Ely infantry ... like mine ...

For the Support Sentinals, I was planning on just hacking off the ML and adding 4 styrene tubes, maybe some GS missile nosecones. Shouldnt be hard at all. A simple barrel swap for the Drop Sentinal. Will probably use the standard IG infantry due to convenience.

I wasn't aware that unobtanium had a meaning outside Avatar. Being a collector of Useless Bits of Information (UBIs), I appreciate it. The Unobtanium in Avatar was a rather nice specimen of Galena (Lead Sulfide), BTW. Now, back on topic...
