• The next step was to begin the green stuff work, which I am really beginning to enjoy as the figures in the army continue to take on their own personalities.

Heres step 2:

Warhound 1

Warhound 2

Warhound 3

I bought this titan of ebay cheap one time, it was missing averything other than the legs and body so I decided to make it my own by making the middle of it, I decided to make it stand a bit taller as well. To start it i just had to fill the centre up with putty for the next step.

• Continuing in small steps, I did some more putty work on these guys. one of the guns on WH 1 broke off while I was doing some of the conversion work and this led me to expanding the putty to help hold this and the other gun stronger.

Heres the pics:

Warhound 1

Warhound 2

Warhound 3

Very cool! :) But don`t make them look to organic. They are still machines if but warped ones ;)

Thanks guys, the spotted geen areas originally started as large rusty spots but unfortunately Ive sort of fallen for the part machine, part monster feel that is starting to come out. I understand what you mean about being machines, but when you've got a feel of what you want them to look like its very hard to start to change it back :))

Ive actually been thinking of making the Rhinos and other vehicles look more this way to match the titans! But maybe too much work... :D

Ok, some more pics of Warhound #3 as it nears completion, the guns were attached and a bit more work was don to them to make them look a little bit more Chaosish.

Then began the task of doing the bases. This is the final step Yippe!

Warhound 1

Warhound 2

Warhound 3

Those look cool. What are the bases going to be? Is that like warp energy or something?

I actually dont really know yet...

But I might steal that idea as what its gonna be!  :vD

I'll probably put some river sand onto it and flock as well, I really just wanted to get a few craters on there (BTW, these dont really show up to well in the pics) and a bit of rough stuff. I tended to put the warhounds a bit higher than the base and so I needed to build up to them, so everything else was really just to hopefully make it look good.

Conversion of A Imperator Titan

Step1: - Feet and legs
• Glue up Feet and leg parts.

• Attach Main spikes (the big spikes come from the Chaos 40K Terminator sprue), these were fitted at the top of the Shins.
• Attach 8 smaller spikes from the Chaos Vehicle Spikey bits sprue, 4 on each side.
• Cut down a 4K CSM Shoulder pad to get the Chaos symbol fr the frnt of the shins.

• Putty around he Chaos symbol, making sure that the windows underneath are covered as well. Then build up the supports around the windows to make it look a little bit different.
• Putty up around the large spikes at the top side of the shins.

Step 2: - Body
• Glue body parts together.

• Remove the Imperial Eagle’s wings from the underside of the building, attach the Large spikes from the old 40K Chaos Vehicle sprues as is son in the 2nd picture. These spikes come out Horizontally from the front of the torso (on either side of the skull).

• Attach smaller spikes that come from the new 40K Building sprues. These ones go vertically in front of the door openings in front of the building.
• Putty the roof top and attach the 2 skulls from the 40K CSM shoulder pads as is shown in the picture.

• Putty under the arms the spikes.

• I decided to make the rear of the body match with the front and put two of the big spikes on the tail of the body.
