I'm  moving first week of July, the processing time doesn't bode well.  Of course though Sci-Fi Commander hopefully will be available by then so that would be some added impetus to purchase said little resin aliens after the move.

The only problem I have with F/W is that their leman russ variants do not have side sponsons otherwise I would have my entire armour as F/W. I know that some variants have no side sponsons in 40K but i just think the G/W russ are the sweetest versions - just chunky and nice.

really? i'm pretty sure EVERY leman russ  40k variant has side sponsons... I own Imperial Armour plus have each of the leman russ variants for my 40k IG army :).

EDIT: ok, laser destroyer doesn't have side sponsons

All the F/W 40K scale Russes don't have sponsons ... that's why the Epic scale Russes don't ... :D  Just checked the catalogue.

yeah, but you can add then on. The body of a FW russ IS the GW russ body, the only thing that FW produces is the turrets. The only reason they don't include the turrets in the photo is because it takes away from their turret product

FW staff generally don't like the design aesthetic of the sponson'd Russ.

i sort of agree, the sponsons look a little strange but stat-wise they are necessary
